Can we receive our orders every day of the week?

Unfortunately due to courier availability, we encourage deliveries to be placed for delivery on a weekday, Monday to Friday. Deliveries are unavailable on Sundays. Deliveries on Saturdays are available on special request, subject to courier availability. Most Launceston areas are serviced every weekday morning. Outside of Launceston, the majority of Tasmania can be reached every day. Regional areas may be every second day.

How much does delivery in Tasmania cost?

Delivery to most Tasmanian destinations is free of charge to the customer, as we cover the charge as part of our service.

Is there a minimum order for Tasmanian orders?

Yes, the minimum order for Tasmanian orders which requires delivery is 20kg.

How are your fresh scallops packaged?

Fresh scallops can be packaged loose (bulk) in lined polyboxes. Each polybox can hold up to 20kg scallops. Alternatively, they can be packaged in 1kg cryovac packs, and then packed into a polybox.

How are your frozen scallops packaged?

Frozen scallops are packed into 1kg cryovac packs before freezing.  This ensures the premium quality of the scallops are not reduced by alleviating issues such as freezer-burn. They are then sent either packed into polyboxes or cardboard boxes, depending on the courier.

Do you deliver outside of Tasmania?

We can deliver to most places in Australia on request, however the customer would be required to cover freight.  The minimum order for interstate delivery is 100kg.

How early do I need to place my order for delivery on a particular preferred day?

If you are in the Launceston region, a delivery that is placed by 3pm can be delivered the following working day, in the morning. If you are outside of the Launceston region, a delivery that is placed by 3pm will be dispatched by the factory the following day, and delivered to you the day after dispatch from the factory. If you are in a regional area, depending on whether our courier services daily or second-daily, you may need to allow one extra day.
