Superfresh Seafoods, previously known as Allan Barnett Fishing Company, is a scallop processing business in the small fishing town of Bridport, Tasmania.

Allan Barnett first started processing scallops in his export registered factory in Bridport in 1985. This business changed to Superfresh Seafoods in 2017, and continues to produce high quality scallops to be distributed not only locally in Tasmania but also interstate, and exported overseas.

Superfresh Seafoods is locally managed by Bridport residents, the original factory owner Allan Barnett’s daughter & son-in-law, Alanna and Jacob Stanford. All of the scallops are wild caught and manually hand shucked, of which the labour is sourced predominately from the nearby communities, which has a significant benefit to the local economy. We provide the highest quality of Tasmanian scallops available to the market. Superfresh Seafoods is the largest scallop producer in Tasmania and South-East Australia, allowing us to provide a constant supply of scallops to our customers throughout the entire scallop season.

We provide scallops to our customers both fresh and frozen, depending on the customers preference, and can pack the scallops into 1kg cryovac packs to ensure optimum quality is retained when stored. We can arrange delivery for scallop orders all around Tasmania (minimum 20kg) with our preferred reliable couriers.

Orders can be sent interstate or overseas on request.
